Chakte-kok is a very dense and hard wood that comes from Central America. It can be a very bright, watermelon red—though color can vary in intensity and hue from board to board: anywhere from a light orange/pink, to a darker brownish red. We recommend that you keep this spindle out of direct sunlight to slow it fading to a reddish brown.

This whorl is rim weighted for long spin time. At 1.5 oz, this spindle is great for spinning and plying.
